This class is designed to serve as an introduction to Unity and to our center. It covers the history of the Unity movement, our spiritual center’s history - and the 5 Unity Principles - as well as answers to any questions you may have.

Being an Active Member affords you the privileges of voting on business at our annual meeting in May, participating in the election of the Board of Trustees, and all other rights and privileges described in our bylaws.

This six week class, ending November 10, is based on the model of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). It provides knowledge and tools for listening, creating connection and facilitating dialogue in tough, emotional situations. The principles and models taught are aligned with spiritual practices, which include: taking responsibility for our own experience; commitment to increasing our awareness of our own feelings and needs as well as those of the people with whom we interact; while having the capacity to be authentic and compassionate in all circumstances.
